Patient Care at Its Finest

Benderson Skilled Nursing on the Aviva campus offers rehab services in a nurturing environment, with the goal of getting residents back on their feet when they need it most. Providing a solid continuum of care is important to us, and our comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services utilize skilled nursing professionals who are available 24-hours a day. Residents can sleep easy knowing that Aviva’s rehabilitation services are synonymous with low return-to-hospital rates and high return-to-home rates.

QAPI Accreditation

After demonstrating the level of care we give to patients, Benderson’s Skilled Nursing and Rehab services received a QAPI accreditation. Providgm’s QAPI Accreditation is based on four standards that evaluate care and life for nursing home residents. To receive accreditation, communities must meet objectives for comprehensive and continuous care, coverage standards, and corrective action. Each of the Four C’s is measured quarterly for a 12-month period, comprised of resident observations, staff and resident interviews, family interviews and comprehensive evaluation of records.

Zero-deficiency Surveys

The results are in, and both Aviva’s Anchin Assisted Living and Memory Care and Benderson Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation received zero-deficiency surveys for their exceptional care programs. Each year, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) performs a rigorous set of examinations that take a comprehensive look at essential nursing care elements like quality of care, quality of service, patient rights, and more. It’s rare for a senior living community to receive a deficiency-free survey, meaning that we’re providing the best care to our residents possible.
