Aviva Senior Living Community recently hosted a MEET & GREET HAPPY HOUR with The Meadows Community Association (MCA) at their newly built, State of the Art, Lifestyle and Fitness Center.  Approximately 50 people attended this event. MCA President Marilyn Malecka extend a warm welcome to all, stating how wonderful it was to have AVIVA recently named the BEST RETIREMENT COMMUNITY In Sarasota and Manatee by SRQ (reader’s choice) Magazine.

Jay Solomon, CEO of Aviva, also addressed the crowd, saying how good it is to be back hosting these community happy hours as there had been none held since 2020 when Covid was a factor in putting a halt to our group gatherings. Jay promised there will be more Happy Hours scheduled in the future as we re-kindle these vibrant get togethers to learn more about the options Aviva has to offer as well as to meet each other’s residents and staff.

The Aviva Chef prepared a variety of appetizers which were enjoyed by all along with The Aviva Special Summer Drink – An Aperol Spritzer! An assortment of beer and wine were also served as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Three Meadows homeowners were donned “winners” of the raffle prizes taking home a surprise 3-pack of assorted wine and two beautiful Boston ferns - all of which was sponsored by Aviva!

Aviva is a part of The Meadows HOA and therefore residents who live at Aviva are able to access the three Meadows’ Golf Courses and club dining venues; pickleball and tennis; fitness and the pools – all through The Renaissance Program offered to residents of The MCA as well as Aviva Senior Living.

The Meadows and Aviva are located near I-75, close to downtown Sarasota, minutes from University Town Center Mall and Benderson Park. There are over 1650 acres of open space, an abundance of canopied oaks, over 85 lakes and waterways, and 14 miles of walking and biking trails. Both organizations share a commitment to wildlife and ecology and are dedicated to being a place where lifestyle, socialization and learning connects one another.
