Philanthropy Ambassadors
Inform. Inspire. Introduce. Our Philanthropy Ambassadors accomplish all three on behalf of Aviva. They are community, board, and business leaders who work closely with Aviva leadership to create awareness and build important relationships.

IMPACT AREAS
Getting to know our donors and grantors to thoroughly understand their giving interests and priorities is the heart of our philanthropy program. At Aviva, we have many ways that our supporters can both honor what matters most to them - and make a meaningful difference for our residents and community.
Benevolent Care Fund
Funded 100% through philanthropy, Aviva’s Benevolent Care Fund provides support to residents in need or who outlive their financial resources so they can remain in their Aviva home with dignity.
Capital Improvements Fund
This Fund provides critical resources to enhance, upgrade, and improve interior and exterior spaces throughout Aviva’s campus.
General Use Fund
When you give to this Fund, you allow Aviva to apply your generosity to areas of greatest need rather than for a specific purpose.
JEWISH HERITAGE FUND
At Aviva, we welcome all. We also honor our founder’s vision to create a community built on Jewish values. We offer our residents a wide variety of Jewish experiences, including onsite religious services, Sarasota Jewish Theatre, and other events, the annual Book of Remembrance creation, and much more. Resident Programs Fund
Our residents have a multitude of intellectual, social, artistic, and recreational activities from which to choose. Our donors’ support makes many of these programs possible.
Safety, Security, and Preparedness Fund
This Fund provides critical resources for campus security, hurricane and other emergency preparedness, accidents, and cybersecurity.
GIVING AT AVIVA
Individuals. Families. Foundations. Corporations. Organizations. Grantors. Event Sponsors. We establish long-term relationships with diverse supporters. This allows us to raise necessary funds to serve our residents and community with excellence – now and in the future. Each year, we host two fundraising events. Join us on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in a celebration of community as we honor eight extraordinary community leaders at our annual Eight Over 80 event!

Recurring Giving
One of the easiest ways to increase your impact at Aviva is through recurring giving. Make a $25 gift? Terrific! Make a $25 gift quarterly for a year ($100)? Fantastic! Make a $25 gift each month for 12 months ($300)? Wow!
Flanzer Philanthropic Trust Match Program
Double Your Impact! Aviva proudly participates in the Flanzer Philanthropic Trust Matching Gift Program. For every gift (up to $500) you make through the Flanzer Trust for Aviva, it will be matched dollar-for-dollar! For example, a gift of $500 becomes $1000. In 2023, your monthly gift of $500 will be matched by Flanzer up to $3,000. Ready to make your gift?
Corporate Matching
Does your employer support its employees’ philanthropic giving through a corporate match program? This provides a great way to increase your impact to Aviva. We can help you facilitate this gift.
Deferred and Planned Giving
Your Family’s Legacy. Including Aviva in your will, as an insurance beneficiary, in an estate plan, or in another deferred vehicle will contribute to Aviva’s mission in the future.
