Inheritance­—A Social & Legal Force

Join us this month for Inheritance—A Social & Legal Force. This class discusses the concept of inheritance and its social role in the family, as well as in the nation of Ancient Israel. In attending this class, you’ll get to hear from Dr. Rachel Dulin, an expert in Jewish religion and culture. Class is in session every Thursday at 3:30 p.m. all month long, so come join us to learn more about this interesting topic.

Israel—A UNESCO Hotspot

Aviva U also presents Israel—A UNESCO Hotspot this month. UNESCO was an organization created to encourage peace and acceptance for human rights. Their World Heritage Committee is the topic of our class. The World Heritage Committee was created in 1975 to promote international cooperation in conserving the world’s cultural heritage. With 15 World Heritage sites, Israel has one of the highest numbers of historical sites globally. Transport your mind to these historical sites and learn why they are important to the preservation of culture! Join us on Thursday, August 2^nd at 7:00 p.m. to learn more.
