Creating Meaningful Sensory Experiences for Residents with Dementia Related Diseases

Dear Family and Friends ofKobernick-Anchin-Benderson,The Anchin Pavilion and Benderson Skilled Nursing activity department was recentlygranted fundsfrom the Junior League of Sarasota for our reminiscent program to create and fillthemed memory boxes which will be used as a powerful therapy tool for reminiscing, evoking speech and emotions, tactile stimulation, and conversation starters for people with Dementia. We have assembled the boxes but we are still in need items toplace in the themed sensory boxes. Please consider donating any of the following items to this program.
