Our holistic approach to care focuses on mind, body and spirit, with compassionate, skilled nurses available 24 hours a day, to help ensure residents fill their days with comfort, independence, and meaning.
Skilled nursing is typically short term, acute care overseen by a physician and serves as a transition between a hospital and a more permanent residence. The specialized care enables patients to return home as quickly as possible — whether home is here at Kobernick Independent Living, Anchin Assisted Living or Memory Care, or someplace off-campus.
Benderson Rehabilitation at Aviva
Many skilled nursing residents also require robust rehabilitation programming, including skilled physical, occupational and speech therapy as medically necessary. Benderson Rehabilitation at Aviva offers one-on-one therapies provided by a compassionate clinical team, available seven days a week.
Access to rehabilitation on the same campus where you live helps assure continuity of care and a sense of familiarity. As a result, our residents report excellent results within short timeframes, with a low return-to-hospital rate and a high return-to-home rate.
