The Joseph Gottlieb Wellness Center
Located in Kobernick Independent Living, our specialized fitness and wellness center is a cornerstone of our holistic approach to health. Led by our full-time Wellness Coordinator and Nurse Navigator, this dynamic center offers powerful tools to keep you healthy and safe. Our fitness programs are designed to be low-impact on joints and muscles while promoting movement and balance. In addition to guided exercise classes, residents have access to our full gym and one-on-one fitness training with a geriatric fitness professional. From specialized fitness classes like Yoga and Thai Chi, to balance improvement as well as healthy diets our health and wellness team are invested in providing you all the tools to live a healthier and happier life.
On-Campus Rehabilitation Services
After a fall, a surgery, or simply as our bodies grow older, many of us need help and support to get moving again. Aviva is proud to partner with Select Care to offer occupational, speech, and physical therapy to residents across campus. For residents in Independent Living, our skilled therapy team will work directly in your apartment working to ensure your space fits your needs. Residents at Anchin Assisted Living, Anchin Memory Care, and Benderson Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation can take advantage of our two therapy gyms which utilize specialized equipment and tools to target your needs. From daily exercises to one-on-one sessions with a therapy staff member, the services of our rehabilitation team will let you to continue enjoying the things you love, on your terms.

Developed as a holistic approach to health, Aviva4Life is a multidisciplinary approach to creating healthy living for you. Our Benderson Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation community is our 45 bed licensed nursing facility. It is Medicare-approved and accepts patients through Medicare and Private Pay, providing the highest level of care when residents need it. Featuring both private and semi-private rooms our Benderson community exists to provide residents specialized care while giving them the independence to enjoy programming, dining, and connection across campus. Anchin Memory Care
For residents experiencing a cognitive decline either due to conditions like Alzheimer’s and Dementia or simply through the aging process, Aviva is proud to offer an extraordinary community at Anchin Memory Care. A secured unit, our Memory Care residents enjoy specialized programming geared towards stimulating cognition. Working out your brain is just as important as working out your body especially as we age.
