On behalf of the entire team of Aviva Senior Living, I want to welcome you to our community. As we begin a new and exciting chapter in the history of Aviva, I cannot truly put into words how humbled and overjoyed I am to lead our team. For over 30 years I have had the privilege of serving in senior living communities throughout the state of New Jersey as an executive but more importantly a member of the community. In the idea of Aviva itself, which translates into spring, I am immensely excited to enjoy the sunny weather of Florida and bring both a new energy and perspective to the Aviva community!

The spirit of Aviva has and always will be new possibilities. Our team works tirelessly to put our residents and their families first. At Aviva we strive to provide you unlimited opportunities to engage mind, body and spirit. Our community is comprised of dynamic and engaging residents and top industry staff waiting to welcome you.

We continuously reinvest in our community. Our not-for-profit, mission driven organization mentality has provided us the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for our residents in innovative and forward thinking ways. In fact, in 2016, we spent $1.4 million to improve the quality of life for our residents with sweeping enhancements and updates to our entrances and our resort-style pool, deck and recreation areas.

In 2017, we unveiled our Aviva4Life initiative. Based out of our  Wellness Center the program drives forward health promotion and illness prevention. Residents experience the 14 components of wellbeing and are guided by our 7-day a week nurse navigators. Components include:

  • Brain health
  • Fitness and personal training
  • Encore Academy lifelong learning
  • Arts and leisure
  • Community outings
  • Health screenings and support
  • On-site nurse navigators, counseling, spiritual support, nutritional support, physical, occupational and speech therapy.

As we look ahead we are excited to continue to expand our program offerings including a wide spectrum of live performances hosted in our Kretzmer Center. Serving as a large multi-purpose space, complete with theatre quality lighting, sound, and hearing loop system, the Kretzmer Center has added a whole new level of luxury to our flourishing arts and culture program here on campus.
